Hi, first of all great application - I've been using it for almost a year now with no issues.

Just a couple of thoughts to help me with the plog:

1 - could you put an option in to allow the RNAV column to be blank - thus allowing me to put my own radial / dist to / from a VOR on the plog

2 - could you allow us to select / deselect ATS freq etc in a similar way to the met, I find myself having to add some freqs to the plog and highlighting those that I actually need from a long list.

many thanks

I would like to add my support for suggestion #2. At the moment I cross out the frequencies I don't need and highlight the most important ones that I do. It would be useful to be able to customise this list from within the program.

Id like the facility to be able to print out a blank plog template which I can fill in by hand.

This would be useful for long trips where I dont quite know where Im going next.

Short of that, would designing one that fits your requirements using word or excel be simple enough? I myself add scanned plates of commonly used airports on.

I like all of the suggestions already made, and have a couple of other suggestions to make in addition:

Would it be possible to have a "zero wind" plog - given that the forecast is almost always wrong, having to undo the wrong wind to apply the correct wind doubles the mental maths I have to do. That said, adding a "max drift" box at the top of the plog would be useful.

Second, most of my flights are "out-and-back" on the same day, usually following the same route. At the moment, I print the plog for one direction, go back to the main window, reverse the route, and print the second plog. Since I also use the "two pages" mode, this wastes two half sheets of paper. Could you add a "also print reverse route" option to the plog?

Cheers,

Mike.

With regard to your second point, just stick the paper back in your printer the other way round before printing the return trip. You can then fold it in half and have outbound on one side and return on the other.

Doh! Sometimes the simplest solutions are the best.
